Liam Martin

Co-Author of Running Remote (HarperCollins Leadership)

Liam Martin is a serial entrepreneur, traveler, and leading advocate for the global remote work movement. He is the co-founder of Time Doctor and Staff.com, two of the most widely used time-tracking and productivity platforms in the world. Additionally, he serves as a co-organizer of Running Remote, the world’s largest conference dedicated to building and scaling remote teams.

An avid proponent of flexible work environments, Liam’s insights have been featured in publications such as Forbes, Inc., Mashable, TechCrunch, Fast Company, Wired, The Wall Street Journal, The Next Web, The Huffington Post, and VentureBeat. He holds both an undergraduate and graduate degree in Sociology from McGill University.

Liam lives in Canada but spends three to six months of the year traveling, utilizing his own remote work strategies to manage his businesses from anywhere. He is passionate about encouraging others to embrace this lifestyle and frequently shares his expertise on asynchronous management and digital nomadism.

His book, Running Remote: Master the Lessons from the World’s Most Successful Remote-Work Pioneers, was co-authored with his business partner Rob Rawson and published by HarperCollins Leadership in August 2022. It has since been recognized as a Wall Street Journal bestseller.
