Tonya Harris is an award-winning environmental toxin expert and the founder of Slightly Greener, where she helps families detoxify their homes by implementing small, manageable changes that yield a significant long-term impact. She is the author of The Slightly Greener Method, published by Sourcebooks in August 2021.
In addition to being board-certified and holding a master’s degree in holistic nutrition, she possesses multiple certificates in the environmental health field. Her expertise in environmental toxins and their effects on children has led to features in Parents, Reader’s Digest, and Bustle, as well as television appearances on The Dr. Oz Show, KTLA News, and Good Morning Cincinnati.
As a childhood leukemia survivor and a mother of three, including one child with learning disabilities, Tonya is deeply committed to children’s mental health and advocacy. She is the host of The Happy Child Project podcast, which focuses on helping children look beyond labels or differences to discover their authentic strengths.
