Brad Chase is a strategy, leadership, and marketing advisor with an extensive business career spanning startups to Fortune 500 firms. He has advised leaders across diverse markets, including education, mobile, and consumer services, working with organizations such as GE, Telstra, VMware, and Sonos. Additionally, he has held board leadership positions for numerous companies and nonprofits, including Expedia, Brooks, and The Nature Conservancy.
Prior to his work as a consultant and speaker, Brad spent 14 years at Microsoft, finishing his tenure as a Senior Vice President and Executive Officer. During his time there, he oversaw the marketing for the client and server businesses for Windows 2000, Windows 98, and Internet Explorer versions one through five. Notably, he developed and led the record-breaking worldwide launch of Windows 95, an event widely credited with bringing personal computers into the mainstream. His earlier roles included leading the first marketing team for Microsoft Office and overseeing the launches of MS-DOS 5 and 6.
Brad holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a BS from the University of California at Berkeley. His book, Strategy First: Next-Level Vitality and Success, was published by Greenleaf Book Group Press in 2020.
