Julien Saunders is the co-creator of the award-winning personal finance blog, rich & REGULAR, with his wife Kiersten. Their story has been featured in the New York Times, Glamour Magazine, Forbes, CBS This Morning, the documentary Playing with FIRE, and more. Through creative storytelling, Julien pushes the boundaries of personal finance by highlighting the role culture, societal norms and systems play in shaping our relationship with money. Ever-willing to venture into the uncomfortable, he uses humor to take the edge off a hard-hitting point of view, guiding readers to re-evaluate their assumptions. Before focusing on money, Julien worked in the hospitality industry for over twenty years. He holds degrees in Culinary Arts, Hospitality, and Marketing. Julien’s and Kiersten’s book Cashing Out: Win the Wealth Game by Walking Away was published by Penguin Group in June 2022.
