Dr. Edith Shiro is a licensed clinical psychologist with a private practice in Miami, Florida, where she specializes in trauma, posttraumatic stress, and posttraumatic growth.
Recognized as an expert in the field of posttraumatic growth, Dr. Shiro regularly speaks at large international conferences, universities, schools, and community centers, and is a regular on TV and radio.
Dr. Shiro holds a doctorate degree from Yeshiva University in New York, completed post-doctoral training and certification in Family Therapy at the Ackerman Institute, and received specialized training and certification in psychological trauma and PTSD from New York University’s International Trauma Studies program.
