Emily Dalton

Author of Be Straight With Me (Andrews McMeel)

Emily Dalton is a writer and poet who studied creative writing at Middlebury College. She is the author of Be Straight With Me, a debut New Adult memoir-in-verse published by Andrews McMeel in May 2020. The book explores the complex and unexpected romantic journey between her and her gay male best friend during their college years.

Currently based in Brooklyn, Emily works as a freelance writer, contributing her voice to various creative projects.
