Jake Wood is a former Marine sniper and the Co-founder and CEO of Team Rubicon, a nonprofit disaster relief organization that utilizes the skills of military veterans as first responders to natural disasters. Under his leadership, the organization has become a global force in crisis response, a journey he chronicled in his book Once a Warrior, published by Penguin Random House in 2020. He is also the author of Take Command, a leadership guide published by Random House in 2014.

His commitment to service and entrepreneurship has earned him widespread recognition, including being named a CNN Hero and receiving the ESPN “Pat Tillman Award for Service.” Jake has also been honored with the Goldman Sachs “100 Most Intriguing Entrepreneurs” Award and the GQ “Better Men Better World” Award.
