Katie Benn

Katie Benn is a lifelong multidisciplinary artist, writer, and psychic medium from San Francisco. Inspired by all things numinous and absurd, she explores themes relating to the human condition and our relationships with the self and the unseen. A shortlist of Katie’s creative clients includes Google, Slack, Facebook, Masterclass, Bon Appétit, Condé Nast Traveler, Wired, and MIT Technology Review. Katie has shown her artwork in galleries across the globe, and her writing has been featured in publications such as Illustrators on Creative Processes by Miguel Angel Arteaga (Hoaki Books, 2023), Why Am I Like This? by Gemma Styles (Transword, Andrews McMeel, 2024), and Illustoria magazine (McSweeney’s Publishing, 2024). In addition to her creative work, Katie offers one-to-one mediumship sessions where she connects with those in spirit to deliver messages of encouragement and guidance. Her book, Alchemy and the Cosmic Self, is forthcoming in 2026 (DK Publishing, Penguin Random House).
