Lauren LaRusso is a psychotherapist specializing in extramarital affairs. She is committed to helping individuals and couples heal from the inalterable impact of infidelity, focusing on using the experience as a catalyst for compassionate personal change, insight, and growth.

Through her Instagram platform, Lauren provides a voice to the largely unspoken complexities of infidelity, aiming to reduce silence, stigma, and shame. She is a contributing expert for Psychology Today and writes “Letters to Lauren,” a Substack advice column focused on relationships and infidelity. Lauren holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Creative Writing from The College of the Holy Cross and a Master’s degree in Professional Counseling from the University of Pennsylvania.
