Ann Shoket is a prominent author, keynote speaker, and “Next Generation Expert” who has spent her career redefining ambition and success for young leaders. As a media innovator, she successfully led two major young women’s brands to the number-one position across all platforms. During her tenure as Editor-in-Chief of Seventeen (2007–2014), she steered the publication to record profitability and forged high-profile partnerships with the White House and major networks like MTV and The CW to champion young women’s leadership.

Recognized by Forbes as one of the “10 Most Powerful US Fashion Magazine Editors” and by Folio: as a “Top Woman in Media,” Shoket is a sought-after thought leader. She has appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show, Good Morning America, and The View, and served as a guest judge on America’s Next Top Model for four seasons. A graduate of New York University, Shoket began her professional journey as a reporter under Steven Brill at The American Lawyer.
